WebDAV connects your Debrify devices through a cloud account. We recommend Koofr; Debrify has a built-in preset for it. Once connected, each device can send changes and pick up updates from the others while the app is open and online.

Connect once. Keep syncing. For example, install an addon on your phone and let it sync. Your TV picks up that change when Debrify is open and online. Changes made on the TV can sync back too.

Syncs automatically

Profiles, service connections, installed addons, shared settings and watch progress.

Keep in mind

Appearance stays on each device. Debrify TV channels need a separate manual sync.

Select Connect WebDAV in this section. On a new installation, you can also connect from onboarding.

01 / In your browser

Get a Koofr app password

Create a Koofr account, or sign in to the one you already have.

  1. In the Koofr web app, click your profile picture at the top right and open Preferences.
  2. Select Password in the left menu. Scroll to App passwords.
  3. In Generate new password, enter a label such as Debrify phone, then click Generate.
  4. Copy the generated password. You will enter it in Debrify as your Koofr app password.
Use the generated app password.Your regular Koofr sign-in password will not work for WebDAV. The label you entered is just a name for the password.

02 / On your first device

Choose your starting setup

For the first connection, use the phone, TV or computer whose configuration you want your devices to start with. If Debrify is already set up there, check that your connections and addons work before continuing. After all devices are connected, supported changes can sync from any of them.

  1. Complete initial setup. On a fresh install, choose Set it up here during onboarding. Finish Profiles setup and use an Admin profile; unlock it if prompted.
  2. Connect the services you use. Go to Settings → Connections, open each service you use and add its API key or sign in. You do not need every provider. Help connecting a service →
  3. Install and configure your addons and search engines. Open Addons from Debrify’s navigation. Add the addons you want available on your other devices. Help adding addons →
  4. Finish your other connections. Link any trackers you use under Settings → Tracking, and configure the other supported settings you want to share.

Appearance is personal to each device: themes, Home layouts, navigation and sidebar styles, display tuning, and player/subtitle appearance do not carry over through sync.

Enter these details in the Debrify app.

  1. Select Connect. On an account without an existing Debrify sync setup, Debrify uploads the configuration from this device to start syncing. It then continues sending and checking for updates while the app is open.
  2. Keep Debrify open while the first sync finishes.
  3. Return to Settings → Sync and Migrate. Under WebDAV sync, check for Connected to Koofr and a Last synced time.
Wait for “Last synced” before connecting another device.“Waiting for the first completed sync” means the first upload is still unfinished.
Seeing “Use sync data from this account?” on this first device? The Koofr account already contains a Debrify setup. Choose Cancel if you intended to upload the setup you just prepared. Accepting would replace this device’s profiles and connections with the stored setup.
04 / On each additional device

Connect your other devices to sync

Once the first sync has finished, open Debrify on the next device. This device will load the existing synced setup, then participate in ongoing sync. Use the same Koofr account email. You can generate a separate app password in that account for each device, with a label such as Debrify TV.

Choose the route that matches what you see:

New installation: use onboardingYou are on Debrify’s initial setup screens.
  1. When Debrify offers setup choices, select Log in with WebDAV.
  2. On WebDAV Sync login, choose Koofr, enter your Koofr email and generated Koofr app password, then select Connect.
  3. When you see Use this synced setup?, select Use synced setup to load your existing configuration and join sync.
  4. Keep the app open until setup finishes. Debrify then takes you into the app. This device will now send and receive sync updates while the app is open.

Bring it from another device is a different, local transfer option. For this guide, choose Log in with WebDAV.

Already using Debrify: use SettingsYou have finished or skipped onboarding.
Joining sync replaces this device’s current profiles and connections. If you want to keep its current setup, first open Settings → Data & Backup → Create Backup and save a manual backup. Backup instructions →
  1. Use an unlocked Admin profile. Open Settings → Sync and Migrate.
  2. Under WebDAV sync, select Connect WebDAV.
  3. Choose Koofr. Enter the same Koofr email and a generated Koofr app password, then select Connect.
  4. At Use sync data from this account?, select Use sync data if you are ready to replace the local profiles and connections.
  5. Keep the app open until setup finishes. Check this page for Connected to Koofr and a Last synced time.
This device is now part of ongoing sync.Check that your connections and addons appear. Future supported changes can sync in either direction. Adjust appearance separately on each device.
After setup / Ongoing sync

Make a change. Let it sync.

Your first device provides the starting configuration. After that, every connected device can send and receive supported changes through the same Koofr account.

  1. Use Debrify as usual. Add or change a supported connection, install an addon, or continue watching. Keep the app open and online so it can sync those updates.
  2. Open Debrify on another connected device. Leave it online and allow sync to finish so it can pick up the latest changes. That device also sends its own updates.
  3. Check progress when needed. Open Settings → Sync and Migrate. Under WebDAV sync, the Last synced time shows the most recent completed sync.
Sync runs while the app is open.Allow time for updates to travel between devices. A closed app will need to be opened and connected to the internet to pick up changes.

Want to check for updates now?

Open Settings → Sync and Migrate → WebDAV sync → Sync now on the device you changed. Wait for it to finish, then use Sync now on the other device. This sends local changes and checks for updates; automatic sync continues afterward.

Appearance remains local. Debrify TV channels use the separate manual action below.

Optional / Separate from automatic sync

Sync Debrify TV channels manually

Debrify TV channels and saved torrent pools are not included in automatic sync or the first setup transfer. They have their own manual sync action.

SettingsSync and MigrateDebrify TV channelsSync channels now
  1. Finish connecting both devices to WebDAV and let their initial setup complete. Stop any Debrify TV playback before syncing channels.
  2. On the device with your channels, open the route above and select Sync channels now. Wait for it to finish and check Channels last synced.
  3. On the receiving device, open the same section and select Sync channels now to bring the channel data across.

Repeat this on both devices after changing channels. The main Sync now button does not replace this separate channel sync.

Troubleshooting

If something looks wrong

I cannot open Sync and Migrate.

Finish Profiles setup first, then use an unlocked Admin profile. You can manage profiles under Settings → Profiles. If the WebDAV options shown in this guide are missing, check that you have a Debrify build that includes WebDAV sync.

Koofr will not connect.

Check the email address and use a generated app password, not your normal account password. Confirm that Provider is Koofr and the device is online. If you have replaced or revoked the app password, generate a new one; use Update password when Debrify offers that recovery option.

I see Continue setup or no Last synced time.

Open Settings → Sync and Migrate and select Continue setup if shown. Keep the app open and follow any error message until the first sync completes. Wait for Last synced on your prepared device before connecting another.

My changes have not appeared on another device.

Check that both devices use the same Koofr account email and that the prepared device completed its first upload. Run Sync now on that device, wait for completion, then run it on the receiving device. Appearance is excluded; Debrify TV channels use Sync channels now.

My theme, navigation or sidebar looks different.

That is expected. Appearance settings stay local so a phone’s layout does not change your TV’s layout. Choose the look you want separately on each device.

Is this the WebDAV option under Connections?

Use Settings → Sync and Migrate → WebDAV sync for configuration sync. The WebDAV connection under Settings → Connections is for accessing files.

Do I need a server address or a folder?

With Provider set to Koofr, Debrify supplies https://app.koofr.net/dav/Koofr/ and manages its sync folder. You only enter the email and app password. Koofr’s WebDAV settings →
