Add an IPTV playlist
Debrify comes with no channels — you bring your own, as an M3U playlist or an Xtream Codes login from a provider you already have.
Where to find it
Settings ›Live TV & DVR ›IPTV Playlists ›Sources
TV & desktopSources are listed down the left; add from there
PhoneTap the Sources row first
Look forAdd Playlist, with three tabs
What it does
A source is one playlist or one provider login. Add as many as you like; each keeps its own channels, categories and settings. Once added, it appears in the IPTV tab.
Steps
Pick the tab matching what your provider gave you, then choose Add Playlist.
- From URL — a link to an M3U playlist. Needs a Playlist Name and the Playlist URL. A separate guide address goes in EPG URL, which is optional.
- From File — an
.m3uor.m3u8file already on the device. - Xtream Login — Server URL, Username and Password. The name is optional and Debrify pulls the channel list itself.
Good to know
- An Xtream login usually carries the guide with it — no separate EPG address needed.
- URL playlists and Xtream logins can be refreshed later. A file added From File cannot; re-add the file to update it.
- The same Xtream login cannot be added twice — Debrify says so rather than duplicating it.
- A big playlist takes a moment the first time while Debrify reads it in. After that it opens straight away.
- Debrify supplies no channels and no provider.
