Turn channel previews on or off
Previews play whatever channel you are pointing at. They are on by default; turn them off if you would rather nothing streams until you choose.

What it does
With previews on, moving to a channel starts it playing in the preview panel after a short pause. With them off, the panel shows the channel and what is on, and nothing streams until you press Watch.
Steps
- Open Settings › Live TV & DVR › IPTV Playlists.
- Select Channel preview.
- Turn Play channel previews off — or back on.
The same page is also reachable from Settings › Connections › IPTV.
Good to know
- Previews are on by default.
- A preview uses one of your provider's connections, so turning previews off helps if your plan allows only one or two.
- The setting is per profile, so people sharing a device can differ.
