Choose what Discover opens on

Discover is one browsable grid with a Source dropdown above it. This page decides which source that grid starts on, and whether its posters show tags and ratings.

What it does

Discover shows one source at a time — your own in-progress titles, a tracker, or a Stremio add-on's catalog — and you swap between them with the Source dropdown at the top. Two things are worth deciding once instead of every visit: which source it starts on, and how much the posters say.

Steps

Open Settings and choose Default View under Discover.
Under What should it display by default?, pick a source.
Under Poster cards, turn off anything you would rather not see on the posters.

Both take effect immediately. Nothing needs a restart, and the Source dropdown still switches sources whenever you want — it just does not change what Discover opens on next time.

The sources you can pick

Remember what was opened last time — the default. Discover reopens whatever you were last browsing.
Continue Watching — your own in-progress titles. This is also where Remember starts on a fresh install.
Trakt, Simkl, MDBList — a tracker's own browsing. Each one is listed only once you have connected that account.
Any installed add-on — every Stremio add-on with a browsable catalog appears by name at the bottom of the list.

Poster cards

Show Movie/Series tags — the content type printed on each poster.
Show ratings — the rating chip, wherever the source provides one.

Both are on, so nothing changes unless you turn one off. They apply to the Discover grid; Home rows and the See All pages you open from Home are unaffected.

Good to know

All of this is per profile. Two people on the same TV can open Discover on completely different things.
If you pinned an add-on and later removed or disabled it, the setting reads Unavailable add-on rather than quietly resetting itself. Reinstall the add-on and it works again.
Turning a poster switch back on restores the badge — nothing about the titles themselves changes.
A poster with no rating simply shows none. Show ratings only hides what is there.
